As an independent locally owned and operated business, it's important to us to support other like-minded local businesses. We recently met at The Elm, "A gathering place for people who crave community and culinary adventure" for a photoshoot with six other local business owners for drinks and a photoshoot while we discussed their unique stories, their businesses, and how they discovered Andrew Davis. 

This week in our series we're excited to get to know John Hurlow, the CEO and senior financial advisor at Hurlow Wealth Management Group, Inc., a Fee-Only Financial Planning firm with offices in Bloomington and Indianapolis.  John & his team of 7 other Financial Advisors work with families across 28 states helping to create clarity, confidence and comfort in their financial lives.

John HurlowCan you tell us more about you and your family? I grew up in Clinton, Indiana and graduated from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. My wife Christina and I have 6 kids and two granddaughters.

When not working what do you like doing? Christina and I enjoy spending time on the water at Lamb Lake.  I am a car enthusiast and Christina enjoys playing tennis every chance she gets.

What do you like most about your experiences at Andrew Davis? Starting at age 10 when I started my first business delivering newspapers, I have always understood that customer service is paramount, and Andrew Davis excels at every aspect of superior service.  From the time you walk in and are greeted by everyone, to offering you a drink, knowing what you like, what you have in your collection, and what you will look amazing wearing.  
 
Who are your favorite vendors at Andrew Davis? One of my favorite vendors is Magnanni shoes.  The first time I purchased a pair of Magnanni shoes, I fell in love with them.  I have purchased several pairs of formal, semiformal, and casual Magnannis and I love them all!  The quality, colors, styles, diversity, and comfort are amazing.
