Meet Fred Schultz - An Andrew Davis Man

As an independent locally owned and operated business, it's important to us to support other like-minded local businesses. We recently met at The Elm, "A gathering place for people who crave community and culinary adventure" for a photoshoot with six other local business owners for drinks and a photoshoot while we discussed their unique stories, their businesses, and how they discovered Andrew Davis. 

First up in our series is Fred Schultz, a partner in top Indiana law firm Greene & Schultz Trial Lawyers, who has been recognized as a Super Lawyer every year since 2008 by Law & Politics Magazine, and the publishers of Indianapolis Monthly. Below he tells us more about growing up in Indiana, and how he became one of the state's best lawyers. 

Can you tell us more about you and your family?

I grew up in Huntington, Indiana.  I attended Butler University and then Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington (now Mauer).  My wife Jennifer and I have lived in Bloomington since 1998, and we have a son Bill who graduated from Bloomington High School South. After high school he played DIII basketball at Elmhurst University his freshman year of college before transferring to IU where he is now a sophomore.

When not working what do you like doing?   

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I have an awesome back patio with a nice grill where I can be found most weekends.  We’ve got propane heaters so even snow won’t keep me away from my grill!  We also love to travel.

What do you like most about your experiences at Andrew Davis? 

Andrew Davis provides unparalleled customer service.  Everyone is great!  The customer absolutely comes first and the quality of the clothing at AD is top-notch. 

Who are your favorite vendors at Andrew Davis? 

The Magnanni shoes are probably my absolute favorite line at AD.  They last a long time and look fantastic.  My feet and knees thank me every time I get a new pair.

My next favorite is Maurizio Baldassari.  The fabric and fit are so comfortable! I have a favorite Baldassari sweater that I put on the second I get home from work.
